What's Up Lately

Hey everyone! I just wanted to do a quick little update one what's been going on lately! I started an online philosophy course at the beginning of the month and it's been pretty tough for me to get a grip on it even though I've taken online courses almost every semester! It's a lot of reading and I've been procrastinating more than normal. However, enjoy this plethora of things that I've been enjoying!

What I've Been Listening To

I've been attempting to work on school work a lot recently. I said attempting! :) Music is a must when it comes to studying and I've discovered that everybody has their own methods. My methods include these two stations below. Oftentimes I listen to Songza, it works better for me than Pandora and I enjoy being able to choose my activity and mood in order to get music recommendations! Check out the two stations below by going to Songza.com and searching for the station name!

I know it sounds ridiculous, however, I promise that the Songs from Animated Movies station does wonders. For some reason, when I listen to this station, I get down to business. (hehe, Mulan reference) I don't know what it is about it, but it works. Sometimes, though, I need a break. That's when I put on the Acoustic Versions of Pop Songs station. Typically, I listen to this station for non-studying related tasks.

In addition to my philosophy textbook, I finished an audiobook this week and I'm in the middle of two other books. I'll spare you the boring details of the philosophy book; however, you know that I'll gladly share my other reads!!

What I've Been Watching
Recently, the fam and I have been watching Revolution on Netflix. We just finished season one and it's been getting pretty intense. I'm also highly impressed with the creators of the show. They've somehow created a show where I've hated almost every single character and, yet, I keep continuing to watch. That takes skill. My mom and I have been watching Dollhouse together. I love the show and felt the need to share, because.... Joss Whedon. Also, I watched part of Honey Badgers: Masters of Mayhem on Netflix while cooking dinner one night. Let me tell you, it was life changing. Who knew that Honey Badgers were so ferocious?? Not me!!
